development that is Internet based, it can essentially be labeled a 
cloud company. The problem is not all cloud companies are alike. Most 
offer or focus on at least one of these three major service categories 
in cloud computing. These three categories are called "layers" and are 
considered different segments of the greater cloud. Here are the basics 
needed to understand how each of these three layers works, also included
 are some examples of companies that use them to clarify each term more.
